Grammy Visit

My mom just came to visit- it was great-Yay Mom!! We had lots of fun, it was a short visit, since she is a working woman now, but we still managed to pack a lot in....

We saw Madagascar 2, which was pretty cute- Keston loved it and Calon didn't mind it too much either.

She was also able to help me finish sewing our stockings.

And able to catch the first snow flakes of the season with Keston.

We also got some holiday shopping in- well she did (we're done shopping...yippee!) and we got to just hang out and play and talk- it was a good visit! Oh ya- she also babysat so Chad and I could go out to dinner!!!

Ange, "No, I've never seen a giant."

Kes, "Well, have you ever seen one's butt?"

Ange, "How could I see a giant's butt if I have never seen a giant?"

Kes, "Just lift up his shirt and peek."

"Mom do you want to know something? I have chocolate spit!!"
- Keston, really excited, after eating a tootsie roll. 1-11-10

"Mom, I just gogged."
-No matter how many times we tell Keston it is gag, he still calls it gog. 1-7-10

Kes..."Mom, I'm doing this."
Ange..."Well, Kes, I'm doing this."
Kes..."Well, you're ruining my appetite."
-Discussion while Kes is getting dressed after a bath and I am trying to dry his hair 11-20-09

"Remember, I did that lasterday."
-My favorite Keston word, last time + yesterday. It works!

Keston was telling me something silly that I couldn't understand, so I told him that it didn't make sense...he told me "yes, it does mom, it makes 10 cents."

"Dad is blowing fire out of his mouth- can I blow fire out of my mouth when I'm big?"
-Keston watching Chad smoke a cigar on Father's Day

"OW... I got pokes in my finger!"
-Keston touched a cactus at Robin & Deb's house 6-19-09

We just picked the first strawberry from the garden and I told Keston to put it on the table so we could wash it and eat it later, so he did...then he comes back out to play and goes back in and comes out rubbing his tummy saying "yum"- he washed the berry himself and ate the whole thing (green top and all) I hope he washed all the fertilizer off!

"Brownies are yummy 'cause they have chocolate on themselves...and I love chocolate."
-Keston excited about making and eating brownies. 4-21-09

"Mom, we need to go to the candy patch to get more gum."
-Keston really wanted to get more gum, so he offered advice on how to get it. 3-7-09
