We went to Green Lake, Wisconsin last week for a Mohr family reunion and Grandma and Grandpa Mohr memorial. We were a little worried at first because of the 2 1/2 hour flight, 1 hour layover, 1 hour flight and 2 hour drive with the boys- but they both did way better than expected! We bought Calon a baby leash/backpack before we went and never before have I spent a better $10. He got to be free and safe at the same time. Amazing what a difference it made!
It was beautiful there- we were right on the lake in 3 lake houses that were all split into upper and lower self sustaining units. There was room to play and it was sooo green, plus the weather was beautiful while we were there.
We had a great time with all the family- you can't really go wrong with good food, good drinks and good company and we had plenty of all 3. It was fun getting to see the old homesteads of Ralph and Ruth (Chad's maternal grandparents). We got to do a few tours- the Miller Brewery was by far the best, the Jelly Belly tour was pretty good and the cheese tour we went on...well, at least they gave us free cheese!

looks like a great place to visit. Your boys are so cute. We need to have a reunion... let me know when you guys are heading up this way and we can plan something.
